• Any individual who is Life Member of IMA Dombivli can apply or can be nominated. In exceptional cases IMA members from outside the branch may be/ can be considered.
• Awards functioning & execution will be done by awards committee which shall stand final.
• Criteria - -
  • Doctors who are working to the best of their potentials & abilities & display excellence in the healthcare sector.
  • Involvement / Contribution to IMA in general.
  • The social work done by members shall also be considered but shall not be mandatory.
• The entire process shall be conducted in unbiased way with due respect of all nominees or applicants.
• Respect of our members stands high in the priority.
• Multistage approach in selection of award winners - -
  • Nominations to be put in or suggested by IMA Dombivli Managing Committee Members.
  • Scrutiny of nominations by awards committee.
  • Final Nomination list.
  • Award committee will hold all rights of awards & their decision shall stand final.

“IMA DOMBIVLI LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD” - 1 AWARD

This Special Merit Award is presented to recognize contributions during entire career by the member of IMA Dombivli Branch.

• The Lifetime Achievement Award is given to someone who has given invaluable contribution to the healthcare system and practical functioning in community.
• The person should be above 65 years of age.
• The seniority of an individual should be considered.
• Involvement with IMA, IMA awards received during career.
• The social service, humanitarian service, works outside field of medicine also may be considered by members.
• The nominee / recipient should be a person of high repute with strong morals and ethics.

“IMA DOMBIVLI DOCTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD” - 1 AWARD

This award recognizes a Life member of IMA Dombivli whose dedication, talents and skills have improved the lives of countless thousands of people.

• Candidate should provide his/her patients with compassionate, comprehensive, and caring family medicine on a continuing basis.
• Candidate should contribute to the well being of his/her community by being directly and effectively involved in community affairs and activities.
• Should act as a credible role model professionally and personally to his/her community, to other health professionals, and residents and medical students.
• Should stand out among his/her colleagues.
• The candidate should have minimum experience of 15 years of working in the branch area.

IMA DOMBIVLI ACTIVE MEMBER AWARD 1 AWARD
An organization needs great involvement of its members for its smooth, flawless and exceptional working. From all the members, any member who has contributed maximum towards functioning of IMA during the year shall be conferred this ‘IMA Dombivli Active Member Award’ every year.

IMA DOMBIVLI PRESIDENT’S APPRECIATION AWARDS
These awards will be given by the President of the year to appreciate all those people (Member / Non Member) who have contributed towards various activities of the branch for that year.

Every year nomination forms will be available on IMA Dombivli website in the month of December.
Nominations should include full name, IMA life membership number, IMA member since how long, biodata & any other details. Nominations should be handed over in duplicate to the Awards Committee with in stipulated timeframe.

After Scrutiny, the nominations will be open for voting. The final nominations will be displayed on the website & on social media.
Every member should vote in person on the day of voting or through website.
The results will be declared on website after 3 working days after voting day.

IMA Awards Function shall take place in last fortnight of February or first fortnight of March.
IMA awards will be handed over in a special function at the hands of distinguished guests.
